Exhibition with Entertainment Elements

The Foundation was established in 1993 (Registration No. 362) from the proceeds of an event organized by Round Table 6 in collaboration with the leading Pancyprian radio station, Kanali 6.

Its primary mission is to support the educational needs of children, mainly those under the care of the Welfare Office. The Foundation provides financial assistance for private lessons, special therapies, scholarships for higher education and generally helping children overcome challenges and pursue better opportunities. We are currently funding eight (8) higher education scholarships.

In addition, the Foundation supports children’s recreational needs, including funding participation in local and overseas school trips.

In June of last year, the Foundation organized and fully funded a five-day trip to Paris and Disneyland for the children of the Limassol and Paphos Children’s Homes.

Each year, the number of families struggling to meet even basic needs continues to rise. While state assistance covers part of these needs, many essential expenses remain unmet. This is where the Foundation steps in—helping to create better conditions and brighter opportunities for the children’s future.

Since its inception, the Foundation has raised and distributed more than €2,200,000 to children in need. These funds are raised through various activities organized by the Foundation and promoted via Kanali 6. Such activities include an annual Gala dinner, the shaving of a prominent person's moustache in public, a carnival lunch party, theatrical performances, and musical concerts, with all proceeds going toward the Foundation’s work.
